This is DAIWA's new big pit reel with an incredible price-performance ratio. The WormShaft gearing warrants perfect line lay and an enormous retrieve power. Thanks to the gear ratio of 4.9:1 and the big spool diameter, this reel has a retrieval of 102cm! It is a perfect reel for carp- and surf cast fishing.

The 5000LD (Long Distance) model holds the huge line capacity of a 6000 sized spool – but features the small and light body of a 5000 sized reel.
